Online Application

We appreciate your consideration of Eliud International School for your child(ren). We accept applications for your child up to a year before enrollment.

• We get to know your child(ren) through our application form.
• All applications are completed and submitted online for your convenience.
• Your child(ren) will register online, enabling you to access the application whenever you like.
• child needs to submit an application.
• During the online process, the required supporting documents become available.
• Please be aware that submitting an application does not ensure acceptance.

Supporting Documents

We request a number of supporting documents so that we can better understand your child and how to support their learning. The online application process allows for the submission of these.

• Whenever possible, the last three years' worth of school results.
• Testing, assessments, and psychological evaluations, such as IQ tests, psycho-educational evaluations, occupational or speech therapy, and socio-emotional assessments, are all included.
• An undistorted digital photo and a copy of your child's passport (color, at least 400x600 pixels)

Application Fee

Our application fee is N50,000 per application and covers administrative costs.

• The application fee can be paid online for your convenience.
• Our Admissions Committee will review your child's application and supporting documents once payment has been received.
• Application fees are not returnable.
• The application is valid for two years after it is received, though updated records may eventually be required

Entrance Examination

A highly competitive entrance examinations are thereafter conducted once all documents have been carefully reviewed.

• Examinations are in the school premises.
• Papers taken are Mathematics (including Quantitative Aptitude), English Language (including Verbal Reasoning) and General Paper (Current affairs, Social Studies and Science)
• Failure to show up for examinations without prior notice would lead immediate loss of admission
• If your child won’t be available, notice should be made 24 hours before the day of examinations.
• Candidates mus bring the following to the exam hall. These include Examination Slip, Examination material pens, mathematical set, ruler, eraser, sharpener and HB pencil.
• All materials needed for the examinations should be readily available.

Admission Interview

After results of the examination and you pass, we'll get in touch with you to set up an interview that will cover:

• A spoken conversation to get to know your child and give them a chance to ask questions.
• An evaluation of math, reading, and writing may be part of it, depending on the student's age and other factors (s)
• Even though in-person interviews are preferred, those who live outside the Portharcourt can still complete them online.
• Sometimes a second interview is scheduled to gather more details.

Acceptance of offer

After the interview, the Admissions Committee will evaluate the application materials and interview results before recommending a candidate to our Headmaster, who is responsible for making all admissions decisions.

• Within a week of the interview, families are typically notified via email and in writing of the admissions decision.
• Families have a week after acceptance to complete and return the Acceptance of Offer form.
• The seat becomes open to other applicants after one week if the signed form is not submitted.
